Kasoa murder saga: “We must be a bit more revolutionary, too much freedom is k!lling us” – Koku Anyidoho

Former Deputy General Secretary of opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC), Mr. Samuel Koku Anyidoho has reacted to the gruesome murder of the 10-year-old boy at Kasoa.

Recall that Two teenagers were arrested on Saturday, April 3, 2021, for the murder of a 10-year-old boy identified as Ishmael.

According to reports in the media, the suspects Felix Nyarko, 18, Nicholas Kini, 19, had k!lled the boy for money rituals.

They were apprehended by the Kasoa Divisional Police Command following a distress call about a homicide incident in Lamptey Mills.

Mr. Koku Anyidoho reacting to the sad incident took to his official Twitter handle and asserted that Ghana has given too much freedom to its citizens and that’s k!lling us.

He recounted how notorious armed robbers were shot one early morning at Teshie shooting range some years ago and armed robbery ceased.

He added that the country should be a bit more revolutionary in dealing with some crimes. Social media users who commented under his post questioned if he is suggesting that the two teenagers should also be shot to de@th for committing such a heinous crime.

He wrote;

1982/3, notorious armed robbers (Chorkor Spanner & co) were shot @ the Teshie shooting range one early morning & armed robbery vanished.Teenagers murdering for ritual money? Maybe we must be a bit more revolutionary in dealing with some crimes.Too much freedom is killing us.
