John Mahama had vision to transform Ghana; I don’t know where he went wrong — Musician Kwaisey Pee

Highlife musician, Kwaisey Pee is still not convinced why Ghanaians voted against the flag bearer of opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC), John Dramani Mahama in the 2016 and 2020 general elections.

According to the ‘Mehia Odo’ hitmaker, the former President had a vision to transform Ghana in a different direction and he doesn’t know where Mahama went wrong that compelled Ghanaians to vote against him.

Speaking in an interview on TV XYZ, Kwaisey Pee stated that he saw a lot of infrastructures during the tenure of former President John Mahama and his style of development was amazing.

“I don’t know where he (Mahama) went wrong that made Ghanaians voted against him. When it comes to development, infrastructure I liked the way he was trying to change the country but Ghanaians will always say development will not put money in their pocket but they turn to forget that without development, investors will not come into the country and do investment. No investor will come to the country when it is not well developed,” he said.

Kwaisey Pee went on to say that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) ideology is to create jobs but for him, he hasn’t seen any jobs created by the Nana Addo-led government. He has no evidence to prove, unlike Mahama where he can pinpoint infrastructures to back his claims.
