National Democratic Congress’ parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, John Dumelo, has promised to distribute over 4,000 laptops to tertiary students in the constituency.
According to the aspiring legislator, the distribution will be done by the John Dumelo Foundation.
Mr. Dumelo noted that the gesture is supposed to help and assist students access online learning in this COVID-19 era.
He also disclosed that he is a believer in quality education.
A few weeks ago, the actor cum politician fulfilled his promise by giving out some of the free laptops to tertiary students in his constituency. John Dumelo shared a video of himself and the recipients of the brand-new laptops on social media.
Well, Mr. Dumelo has resumed the distribution of the 4,000 free laptops project in his constituency. In a Twitter post, the parliamentary aspirant shared a photo with some of the recipients of the free laptops.
