The General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu has lost his position to Justin Kodua Frimpong in the just-ended delegates conference.
John Boadu lost the race despite getting all the support from the 16 Regional Chairmen of the party.
The winner, Justin Frimpong pulled 2837 votes against 2524 by John Boadu who went into the election as the incumbent and favorite.
The National Chairmanship election went to Stephen Ntim who lost the previous 4 elections.
Madam Kate Gyamfua retained her position as the National Women’s Organizer.
