J.B Danquah-Adu’s postmortem stolen by thieves — Pathologist tells court

Pathologist, Dr. Lawrence Edusei has said that the postmortem he performed on the body of late Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, J.B Danquah-Adu has been stolen by thieves.

He told the High Court in Accra that the postmortem results got missing after thieves broke into his home.

In court on Monday, January 31 2022, when defence lawyer Yaw Dankwah questioned him under cross-examination as to why he conducted the examination in 2016 but his report in evidence points to February 2018, the Pathologist pointed to a burglary in his home

“After the post moterm, I typed the report on my PC. In 2016, while I was at a conference in Germany, thieves broke into my house and packed everything. Because we do have the same information in the Police Hospital, I accessed it in 2018”, the pathologist explained to the court.

JB Danquah Adu was stabbed to death on the night of Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at his Shiashie residence in Accra.
