It’s shameful that Mahama for 8yrs couldn’t do anything in the Bono Region – Abronye

The Bono Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Bafoe popularly known as Abronye DC has said that the infrastructural development going on in the Bono Region forced former President John Mahama to suspend his tour in the region.

Flagbearer of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) a few days ago announced that he’s cutting short his tour in the Bono Region to return to Accra and address the challenges in the voters’ register and exhibition process.

But According to Abronye, the infrastructural works going on in the region by the governing NPP forced Mahama to halt his tour.

He made this disclosure in an interview with Philip Osei Bonsu, Show Host of Eko Sii Sen on Asempa FM, on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.

Abronye DC noted that progress in the area was too much to handle for a former President who did nothing for eight years in office and with shame all over him, Mahama decided to prematurely end his tour of the region.
