Ghanaian Hiplife rapper, Emmanuel Kofi Botchwey also known as Abodam Kwaw Kese has pounced on President Nana Addo and other political leaders for miss using the country’s funds.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Kwaw Kese shared a video in which he argued that it’s sheer foolishness to employ $100Million to build a national cathedral while some bigwigs travel outside the country for proper medical attention.

Kwaw Kese advised that money used for constructing churches could have been allocated for a health facility where our leaders can be attended to when they fall sick.

Some analysts say Kwaw Kese’s comments inspired after the Finance Minister-designate, Ken Ofori-Atta, has flown to the United States of America for post-Covid-19 medical review.

A statement from the Finance Ministry said, “After recovering from Covid-19 last December, Mr Ofori-Atta has had medical complications which doctors advise, require further interventions not currently available in Ghana.”

According to the statement, the President’s representative at the Finance Ministry “will travel to the US for a special medical review.”
