IGP visits bereaved family of ‘bullion van’ murdered police officer (PHOTOS)

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), James Oppong-Boanuh and some officers of the Ghana Police Service have visited the family of late Constable Emmanuel Osei to mourn with them.

The officer was murdered by suspected armed robbers yesterday, Monday, June 14, 2021.

The sad incident is said to have occurred at Adendepo in Accra near James Town.

The robbers who are said to have fired indiscriminately, shot the policeman on escort duty and k!lled him, instantly.

A woman of about 30 years, who is yet to be identified was also shot and k!lled while she was in her shop.

The driver of the bullion van also sustained gunshot wounds and is currently receiving treatment.
