Sky Sports report found the Chinese outfit has offered Igahlo, who has been a big hit with United supporters since arriving at Old Trafford in January, another worthy two-year contract extension over £ 400,000 a week.
Ighalo, who has scored four times in his first three starts for the club, is expected to return to China after his loan expires on May 30.
But it is also reported by Sky Sports that the deal could be extended until June. 30 because of the coronavirus epidemic, which forced the Premier League campaign to stop until June 30 at the earliest.
