I would quit politics if Nana Addo wins the Elections- NDC Kwaku Boahen

The Deputy National Communications,  Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Kwaku Boahen has sworn to quit politics if Nana Addo wins the 2020 general elections.

He publicized his intention while speaking on Nhyira Fm in an interview hosted by Papa Nyamekye. There he noted that John Mahama and the NDC are well prepared to square off with their main opposition, the NPP.

He stated further that, no matter what  strategies the NPP initiate be it spiritually or physically they are destined to lose the 2020 elections and turn over power to the rightful leaders of the country.

Mr. Boahen also disclosed that Mahama’s manifesto has more policies aimed to help boost the progress of the everyday Ghanaian unlike that of Nana Addo‘s. According to Mr. Boahen, this is a strong indication that Ghanaians will vote massively for Mahama.

Meanwhile, in other news, flag bearer of the NDC, John Mahama has again announced that he initiated the Free SHS policy during his regime back in 2015 however the NPP has failed to properly sustain it.

“We started the free SHS Programme and the NPP came to continue. Unfortunately, the implementation has been very poor, and so it ended us in double track.I assure you, my countrymen, that within one year, I will cancel the double track”. Mahama made this statement at the Tuobong a community in the Tempane District of the upper east region.

However, he assured that if he wins the upcoming elections he would ensure that the policy regains the appropriate and vital element needs to make his “policy” a success.

“When voted into power, all the community day schools we were building,200 of them, we are going to finish them so that all the children can get schools to attend”. He said.
