I will stay and lead Ghana in the World Cup qualifiers — Milovan Rajevac

Ghana Black Stars head coach, Milovan Rajevac says he has no intention of resigning despite crashing out of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

The senior soccer team Black Stars of Ghana crashed out of the Africa Cup of Nations 2021 with a humiliating defeat to Comoros on Tuesday evening.

The team was expected to win the game to advance their chance of qualifying to the next stage of the competition after losing to Morocco in their first game and drawing with Gabon.

Unfortunately, team Comoros produced their greatest performance and scored Ghana.

The Serbian, who was reappointed in September, is under pressure to step down, but wants to continue.

“I will stay and lead Ghana in the World Cup Qualifiers in March,” Rajevac said.

“My target was to qualify Ghana for the World Cup, this AFCON is my primary target. I am looking forward to qualifying Ghana for the world cup in March.”
