I was sacked from the office after our meeting,Joshua ,a disabled government minister said while sharing his plight.
Joshua Gmayenaam Makubu is a Ghanaian politician. He is Minister of Oti Region in Ghana. President Nana Akufo-Addo nominated him for the position. He is the second person with a disability to be appointed as a Ghanaian minister.
Many people aspire to do great things at a young age and taking decisions, classes and chances that would lead to the achievement of these dreams are a norm.
Speaking exclusively to Joynews, Honorable Joshua Makubu recounted his teary and sad moments before he became a minister.
He explained that after a crucial meeting in his former office as DCE, they told him to leave office simply because of his disability.
It took the intervention of current Chief of Staff Honorable Akosua Frema Opare to maintain him,Joshua said.
He said that when he first lost his leg, as a kid, he did not understand how much his life was going to be affected by it. Mr Makubu stated that there were many occasions where he cried because of some circumstances he found himself in.
