Government Billing Shatta Wale For A Virtual Concert Unnecessary And Wastage Of Tax Payer’s Money- NDC’s Yayra Koku

A communication member of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) Mr. Yayra Koku has once expressed his disappointment in government for contracting dancehall king, Shatta Wale for a virtual concert to entertain Ghanaians on Easter Monday

Shatta Wale after successfully making history with his first self financed virtual concert (faith concert) last week, has been contracted by the government of Ghana to re-make another version to entertain Ghanaians on Easter Monday as the coronavirus pandemic has annihilated this year’s Easter celebration

Mr. Yayra Koku has taken to facebook to condemn the government for putting up such a useless idea. According to him, the government is only creating avenue for people to just “chop” the nation’s money

He posted a picture of the official art for the program and captioned it “is this necessary?  Who at all is advising this government? They are just creating an opportunity for people to chop k3k3”

The event dubbed “COVID-19 Virtual Concert” will come off on Monday, April 13,2020 at 4pm. It will be transmitted live on facebook, instagram and YouTube. Supporting him is sensational singer, Kuami Eugene
