GLICO surprises mother of mürdered soldier in Ashaiman with hefty donation

Incredible news as Gemini Life Insurance Company Limited (GLICO) has presented a cheque of GHc15,000 to the mother of a soldier who was murdered in Ashaiman. Elizabeth Yaa Kyeraa, the mother of the deceased, received the cheque from Benjamin Avickson, the Executive Sales Manager of GLICO. The gesture was aimed at supporting the family during their time of bereavement. In an interview with Adom News, Elizabeth Yaa Kyeraa expressed her gratitude towards GLICO and her loved ones for their support and consolation after the death of her son. She further stated that the support she has received has helped her and her family to cope with the loss. Benjamin Avickson, while handing out the cheque, stated that the company is deeply saddened by the death of the soldier and sees it as their responsibility to support the family during this difficult time. He reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting its clients in times of need. The family of the murdered soldier has also reacted to the recent arrest of suspects in connection with the murder. Although the family is pleased that the suspects have been apprehended, they remain heartbroken over the loss of their loved one. Meanwhile, the soldier was laid to rest in Ashaiman amidst sad scenes as family and friends paid their last respects.
