Paris Saint Germain, the French Ligue 1 giants, are reportedly showing an interest in signing the Ghanaian star footballer, Mohammed Kudus, from Ajax.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been enjoying a highly impressive season with the Dutch club, scoring 18 goals in various competitions and contributing to five assists in the process.
Kudus has caught the attention of numerous leading clubs in Europe, including Real Madrid and Manchester United, after his phenomenal performances during this campaign.
As per the latest reports, Paris Saint Germain has also entered the race for the signature of the former FC Nordjaelland player. Pedro Almeida, a Portuguese transfer expert, revealed that PSG has initiated talks with Ajax to secure Kudus’s services, offering a transfer fee of around €50 million. However, Ajax is reportedly demanding a fee greater than €50 million.
Although Kudus is keen on a move to Paris, the French club must meet Ajax’s demands to acquire his signature. Currently, the Ghanaian footballer is injured and is expected to remain out of action for two to three weeks.
