Ghana Police officer arrested for stealing motor bike,wee,Ak 47,among others at Kintampo, a town in the Bono East Region of Ghana.
The suspect, Corporal Christian Adjei Boateng,was arrested after a colleague saw him pushing a Honda Motorbike with registration No. M – 15 – UW – 2071 into a dark place across the road in front of the Police station, where a motorbike fitting shop is situated.
The complainant and another officer are said to have gone to the fitting shop only to find out that the Corporal was not there.
A search was then conducted at his residence, during which the Police recovered ten (10) live AK 47 assault rifle ammunitions, one (1) Ghana Police Service Body Armour, one (1) Ghana Police Service Dead Body Bag, and one (1) Ghana Police Service Dead Body Bag,some dried leaves believed to be narcotics.
Corporal Christian Adjei Boateng admitted stealing the items and smoking the narcotics substances but did not provide information about where he had them.
Also,some youngmen storm High Court over ruling on bribery allegations against a powerful businessman.
A group of people claiming to be Thom Mpinganjira’s friends have stormed the High Court in Blantyre’s commercial capital to express solidarity with Mpinganjira as the court prepares to rule on the judges’ bribery case.
Thom the filthy-rich business tycoon was arrested in January 2020 and is accused of attempting to bribe five judges of the High Court of Malawi sitting as a Constitutional Court, who presided over the presidential election nullification case.
