A new Embassy of Ghana has been officially opened in the Kingdom of Norway. The embassy was commissioned Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey in an opening ceremony held in Oslo on 24th February 2020.
The establishment of the embassy, which Ghanaian citizens living in Norway say is one of the best decisions by government as far as the diaspora is concerned, will serve as a direct link between Ghana and Norway and offer various services to Ghanaian citizens as well as those looking to visit or do business with Ghana.
Ghana’s Ambassador to Norway, H.E. Jennifer Lartey took the delegations on a tour of the offices after the opening ceremony, and expressed gratitude to all who made the establishment of the embassy in Oslo. Over 3000 Ghanaians living in Norway who used to be served by the Ghana Embassy in Denmark will no longer have to make the long journey and the relationship between Ghana and Norway will be strengthened.
