Gabby Otchere Darko speaks on Bagbin’s new dressing style and we are happy about it considering the fact that he is from the opposition party.
We reported yesterday that Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin returned to Parliament House today in costume you may not have seen any Speaker in before.
Mr. Bagbin dressed like a chief and according to him, he would only wear the cloak on special occasions.
Below is a photo of the attire
One of the known member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, has stated his strong appreciation of the attire.
He shared his admiration in a tweet.
The tweet which also had the photo of the speaker read;
I kinda like it! Original! Culturally, representatively cool! So long as he doesn’t get majestically carried away with kingly thoughts and behaviour.

On December 7, 2021, an Accra Circuit Court adjourned the cases involving Shatta Wale and Medikal to January 25, 2022 after their lawyers pleaded with the court to do so.
Shatta Wale’s lawyer Jerry Avenorgbo appealed with the court to adjourn the case to enable his client to attend some programs outside Ghana during the festive season.
The lawyer of Medikal, Pobbi Banson also appealed with the court to adjourn the date in order for him to embark on trips to perform during the Christmas season.
