FULL DETAILS: American Court dismisses Kennedy Agyapong’s defamation case Kevin Taylor

A district court in Virginia has thrown out a defamation case brought before it by Ghanaian politician Kennedy Agyapong against Loud Silence Media and Kelvin Taylor.

It would be recalled that the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong filed a defamation suit in America asking the court to order Kelvin Taylor to pay 9.5 million dollars for making some false statements against him on his With All Due Respect Extend Version Program.

However, the court has dismissed Kennedy’s case adding that the lawmaker has no basis for asking the court to take 9.5 million dollars from Kevin Taylor.

The judge cited many cases as references and stated Kennedy Agyapong failed to truly prove that as a public figure as he is, the said issues he said defamed him actually did.

His case on all accounts has thus been thrown out or dismissed with 60 days grace period for him to appeal the judgment.
