The bereaved family of the young beautiful lady who was gruesomely murdered at Adum, Kumasi has reacted to Inspector Ahmed Twumasi’s claim that he k!lled his alleged girlfriend because she owed him GHC5,000.
Inspector Ahmed Twumasi who was accused of fatally sh00ting Victoria Dapaah, also known as Maadwoa appeared before the Asokore Mampong District Court on Tuesday, April 25 and confessed to committing the heinous crime.
He was charged with murder, and it was revealed in court that he used a service pistol to carry out the act. Mr. Twumasi told the court that Maa Adwoa was owing him GHC5,000.
Although he was not allowed to plead guilty or not guilty at that point, Twumasi said he had no intention of committing the crime and what happened is between him and God.
Reacting to the claims of the police officer, Maadwoa’s family called for him to be killed as the only way for justice to be served.
