Ghana police, military, media and officials of the Electoral Commission and other essential providers are voting today ahead of forthcoming general elections.
This is a special voting exercise organized by the Electoral Commission to enable the service providers to perform their duties well on December 7.
A total of 109,557 persons are expected to take part in the special voting across the country.
EC boss, Mrs. Jean Mensa disclosed during a press conference in Accra on Monday, November 30 that the management body expects this exercise to witness a 100 percent turn-out.
“As a Commission, we expect 100 percent turn out. We expect it to be peaceful, credible, and transparent, ” she said.
The voting started at 7:00 am and will end around 5:00 pm this evening.
