Ghanaian actress, Joselyn Dumas has joined millions of Ghanaians who have kicked against the introduction of the electronic transaction levy (E-levy).
The actress in a Twitter post asked the government to account for all the taxes paid in the past as she believes that’s the only way Ghanaians will be willing to accept the e-levy.
A lot of Ghanaians including celebrities have spoken against the controversial electronic levy the government has intended to implement. Many people believe the Nana Addo-led administration is trying to force the e-levy on the citizens.
Others have asked the government to drop the e-levy because the country’s unemployment rate is high and we are in hard times.
Some concerned citizens earlier today hit the streets of Accra to demonstrate against the much-hated e-levy.
