Embattled Member of Parliament(MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has questioned if the drafters of the NDC’s manifesto were intoxicated with alcohol whiles drafting the outrageous Zongo mortuaries promise.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) received extreme criticism from the public and their opposition after a promise to build more mortuaries for the Zongo communities in the country.
Kennedy Agyapong reacting to the promise aired his views in an interview with Accra based radio station, Oman FM.
According to the outspoken MP, it’s only a party which does not sit and plan for progress of the country, makes such promises. He also questioned if the party members were drunk whiles drafting their 2020 Manifesto.
He argued that the promise contradicts the customs of most of the inhabitants of these Zongo communities.
“So Mahama could not get anything better to give the Zongo communities in Ghana. Even their custom is against morgues or when they were drafting the document they all drunk akpeteshie before. I think when they were drafting the document, they were all drunk.” He stated in a report sighted.
