Ghanaian rapper and CEO of Black Avenue Muzik, Desmond Blackmore popularly known as D Black has signed a new deal with alcoholic beverage Hennessy despite Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) ban preventing celebrities from advertising for alcoholic beverages.
The FDA and Gaming Commission has banned Ghanaian celebrities from advertising for alcoholic beverages and betting companies. Musicians and other celebrities have reacted to the decision with a section calling on the FDA to take certain things into consideration and amend the law.
D Black over the years has signed so many ambassadorial deals with so many Alcoholic beverages. In 2014, he secured a deal with Guinness Ghana Breweries Ltd to be the official brand ambassador for CÎROC Ultra – Premium Vodka and signed similar deal with D-Amphora Wine & Liquor In 2017.
The rapper took to his Twitter handle to announce his new deal with Hennessy.
