Court remands 2 teenagers who allegedly k!lled RCCG Pastor in Lagos, Nigeria.

Two young guys have been remanded in custody by a magistrate court in Yaba for the suspected murder of Babatunde Dada, a Lagos-based pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

Farouq Muhammed, 16, and Jamiu Kasali, 19, were remanded in custody for 30 days by the court.

On January 12, 2022, the suspects were remanded in the Special Correctional Centres for Boys Oregun and Ikoyi Prisons, respectively.
On December 2, 2021, in the Chapel of Resurrection, 6th Avenue, Festac Town, where the dead was the admin/account officer, an event occurred.

Mr Dada was stabbed to death inside the church by two youths who had come to the church for the first time the Sunday before the event and had ‘committed their lives to Christ.’

They also took his personal items from him.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Police Service has interdicted a young policeman spotted on video in a perceived drunkard state.

The video that went viral earlier today captures the police officer in his uniform allegedly drunk.

The video got many comments from upset social media users, as no one was pleased to see the drunken officer.

According to the narration in the video, the officer could not walk properly because he had spent hours of his time drinking alcohol.

In a statement released by the police service, the officer has been identified and in line with police regulations, he had been interdicted to make way for investigation into his conduct.

The statement added that a clinical psychologist has been assigned to evaluate him and offer him the necessary support.
