Former TV3 staff, Bridget Otoo has jumped to defend actress Akuapem Poloo after a court convicted her.
The broadcast journalist can’t fathom why ‘harmless’ Akuapem Poloo is being convicted while CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM1 whose actions has k!lled and rendered thousands of people jobless is walking freely.
According to her, in a country where rule of law works, NAM1 should have been jailed and forced to refund all the monies to the aggrieved menzgold customers.
Her comments come after an Accra Circuit Court today April 14 convicted Akuapem Poloo and about to sentence her to prison for allegedly sharing a n@ked photo with her seven-year-old son on social media.
Bridget Otoo believes the manner and speed Akuapem Poloo’s case has been handled should have been given to NAM1 looking at the casualties involved.
To her, NAM1 who has been described by the state as a scammer is walking freely and sharing photos and videos on Instagram because he is connected to big men in the country.
She took to Twitter and wrote;
NAM1 is still free and doing Instagram post. A man described by the state as a scammer.
A man whose actions has killed people, rendered thousands jobless and some are at the point of suicide!
He’s free cos he’s connected! #AkuapemPoloo
