The Chief of Apesua in the Yilo Krobo of the Eastern Region, Nene Bawa Tetteh is not happy with President Akufo-Addo for abandoning E-block schools constructed by his immediate predecessor, John Dramani Mahama.

According to Nene Bawa, H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has refused to commission the E-Block community day school constructed in his community by the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC).

The E-Block community day senior high school was built by former President John Mahama in 2016 while he was in power but it is yet to be functional.

The chief addressing the media complained that the building is now occupied by rodents and other animals after five years of completion.

He urged the President to commission and make it operational or they should come and carry it from his land because he needs land for other purposes.

“Rodents have taken over the facility. I want the government to open the school this year otherwise they will have to come and carry the building away and let me use the land for other things,” he added.
