Veteran Uruguay striker, Luiz Suarez says he owes Ghana no apology over the 2010 FIFA World Cup incident.

Luis Suarez has no remorse for his deliberate handball incident which denied Ghana a spot in the semifinals of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Suarez speaking to the press ahead of their game against Ghana on Friday, December 2, 2022 said he will not apologize to Ghana because is did not injured a player.

“I don’t need to apologize. I’d apologize if I injured a player, but in this situation, I handled the ball, I take a red card and the Ghana player missed the penalty. It’s not my fault. I didn’t miss the penalty. It’s not my responsibility,” he said when asked if he’d apologize to Ghana on the 2010 incident.
