With three victories and a stalemate against Aston Villa on their recent tour of Thailand and Australia, Manchester United has enjoyed a good run. When they played Steven Gerrard’s Liverpool, they beat Crystal Palace and Melbourne Victory.

The Manchester United stars are now on their way back to Europe, with half of the squad flying to Oslo on Saturday to face Rayo Vallecano, while the remainder of the club will remain in Manchester for United’s last pre-season game against Atletico Madrid.

At right-back, Diogo Dalot appears to be putting himself in a good position to start on day one of the Premier League season. Several other players have also impressed on tour.

We’re less than two weeks away from the start of the new season, and Manchester United have yet to sign a right-back this summer, despite claims to the contrary. Aaron Wan-Bissaka appears to be in second place in the pecking order, according to Dalot.

Bruno Fernandes revealed that Dalot’s nickname is ‘The Train’, which is clearly a favorite among teammates.
