It has been alleged that Ghanaian musician Black Sherif turned down £10K offer to perform at the Ghana Party in the Park show in the UK.
One of the organizers of the show claimed that Black Sherif and his camp rejected the performance for £10K.
He said that the “Kweku Traveller” hitmaker had said he would only mount the stage to perform if the money was increased from £10K to £50K.
According to the report, Black Sherif’s managers insisted that their artist was worth more than a paltry £10K (GHS 97,786) for a show in the UK, so it should be increased to £50K (GHS 489,387).
According to an anonymous source [a member of the Akwaaba UK group], the group proposed an amount of £10,000 (GHS 97,786) as Black Sherif's performance fee for the Ghana Party in the Park event. However, Blacko's team was demanding £50,000 (GHS 489,387). #DaybreakHitz pic.twitter.com/kgkUDDMmqu
