Fast-rising Ghanaian musician, Black Sherif has lost in the BET Hip pop awards Best International Flow to rapper Benjamin Epps from France.
Black Sherif was nominated for the awards on September 12, 2022.
The BET Hip Hop Awards was held on October 4, 2022.
Benjamin Epps who won the BET Hip pop award for Best international flow was nominated alongside Black Sherif cutting short the honor of Ghana winning the category for the second time after Sarkodie won it in 2019.
BET announcing the win of Benjamin Epps took to their Instagram page to write;
“Congratulations to Benjamine Epps on winning the 2022 BET Hip Pop Awards Best International Flo. Please see attached digital assets for your talent and team”.
Meanwhile, the most decorated Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie was the first winner in the category following its inception in 2019. He beat Falz (Nigeria), Ghetts (U.K.), Kalash (France), Lil Simz (U.K.), Nasty C (South Africa) and Tory Lanez (Canada).
