Award-winning actress, Yvonne Nelson is not happy with how the current administration led by President Akufo-Addo is governing the country.
According to her, there is no hope in the New Patriotic Party government.
The loudmouth actress stressed that nothing seems to be working under the Nana Addo government.
In a social media post, Yvonne urged Ghanaians not to believe in the current government because nothing will change.
“Believing in this government is like believing it will snow in Ghana” she tweeted.
In other news, the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE), Mr. Abdul Mumin has been arrested by Western Regional Police Command.
According to a statement released by the Ghana Police Service, Mr. Abdul Mumin Issah was arrested for an alleged motor traffic offence, verbal assault and offensive conduct against a police officer who was performing his lawful duty.
The MCE has been charged on three (3) counts, assault on a public officer, offensive conduct conducive to breaches of peace and disturbing the peace in a public place.
He has also been charged for dangerous driving.
Further information states that he was driving a Toyota Landcruiser with registration number GE 5615 – 20 and is alleged to have driven dangerously and carelessly while approaching a police checkpoint at the Kwesimintsim Cemetery on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
This was after one of the police officers tried to stop him which he verbally assaulted and threatened him.
He will be arraigned before the court on Friday, February 4, 2022.
