The Overlord of Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and his wife, Lady Julia, were welcomed yesterday at Buckingham Palace ahead of the Coronation of King Charles III on Saturday, May 6, 2023.
The Asantehene and his wife were invited by the Royal Family to witness the Coronation of the King. They left Ghana on May 3, 2023.
They will assemble at Westminster Abbey on Saturday for what is expected to be a feast of pageantry marking the first coronation in over 70 years.
The Asantehene’s Ahenkorah, meaning servant, was spotted inside the palace with the royal umbrella.
