Marie-Claire Rupio, wife of former Black Stars player Christian Atsu, their three (3) children and mother have finally arrived in Ghana for the final funeral rite of the late footballer.
A lot of Ghanaians have been wondering about the whereabouts of Atsu’s wife after his lifeless body was transported to Ghana for burial.
Many people descended heavily on her for not flying to Ghana to join the family of her late husband to mourn him.
Atsu’s family disclosed in an earlier interview that Marie-Claire Rupio and the three children will fly to Ghana for the final funeral rite.
Finally, Atsu’s wife together with their 3 three children and mother have touched town in Ghana to pay their last respect to the late footballer.
According to Kofi TV, Marie-Claire and her family arrived in the country on Thursday, March 16 around 8 pm.
The final funeral rite of Christian Atsu is scheduled for Friday, March 17, 2023. He will be laid in state in front of the State House Ghanaians and other dignitaries to pay their last respect to him.
