Association of Bankers Ghana donates GH¢50,000 to family of late constable Emmanuel Osei

A team of Association of Bankers Ghana led by their Vice President, Dan Sackey earlier today donated an amount of fifty thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS50,000) to the bereaved family of late Constable Emmanuel Osei on behalf of the Bankers Association Ghana.

Some members of the Association together with family of the late police officer called on the Outgoing Director-General Welfare, Commissioner of Police Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah at National Headquarters today to express their appreciation to the Police Administration for their support to the family.

On behalf of the Police Administration, COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah thanked the association and the bereaved family for their cooperation.

It would be recalled that late General Constable Emmanuel Osei was shot and k!lled by a group of armed robbers when on duty on 14th June 2021 at James Town, Accra. Until his untimely death, he was with the National Special Weapon and Tactical Team. (SWAT) Unit. He was promoted posthumously to the rank of a Lance Corporal.
