Ghanaian media personality, Joyce Asiedu popularly known as Maame Yeboah Asiedu has responded to allegations of fraud made by a woman on social media regarding a land purchase deal. In a new video, Maame Yeboah Asiedu admitted to taking the sum of ₵65,000 from the woman and confirmed that the money was for a land purchase deal.
Maame Yeboah Asiedu stated that she still had the money and was waiting for the woman to either come back for her land or bring someone who could purchase the land at the same price so she could refund the cash.
The former UTV and Adom TV show host explained that she blocked the woman because all the woman does when she calls is insult and defame her. She added that the woman was a clout chaser and was just trying to defame her.
The video of Maame Yeboah Asiedu’s explanation has since gone viral, and it has garnered a lot of reactions on social media. The situation has raised concerns among the public, with some calling for an investigation into the matter.
