President Akufo-Addo has disclosed that the country through the ministry of Aviation is preparing to reopen the borders for human traffic by September 1.

To halt the spread of coronavirus in the country, President Akufo-Addo closed the borders of Ghana prevent the importation of the virus into the country.

The President during his 15th address to the nation on Sunday, August 16, 2020 revealed that the country by September 1 will open the borders for human traffic.

The President during the address also hinted that tertiary institutions in the country will reopen on August 24 for academic works to commence.
