Afia Schwarzenegger in hot trouble again as Wontumi drags Her to Court

Afia Schwarzenegger has once again found herself in legal trouble, as she is being sued for violating the terms of her previous release in a contempt case.

As we recall, she failed to appear in court after being hit with a defamation lawsuit by Chairman Wontumi. Consequently, she was found guilty of contempt of court and was sentenced to 10 days in prison, which she evaded.

She later turned herself in and apologized for her actions, and her lawyer requested that she be fined instead. In order to avoid serving her prison sentence, the socialite was required to sign a bond of good behavior for 36 months and pay a fine of GHC60,000.

The court also prohibited her from commenting on the case on any platform during the bond period, and warned that any violation of these orders would result in her being brought back to court.

However, after closely monitoring events on social media, Chairman Wontumi has realized that Afia Schwarzenegger has disregarded all of the court’s rules.

In light of this, Wontumi’s legal team has filed a new lawsuit, requesting that the court punish Afia Schwarzenegger for continuing contempt by violating the terms of the court’s judgment.

According to the statement released by Wontumi’s counsel, “The counsel for and behalf of the applicant herein will move this honorable court for an order praying the honorable court to punish the respondent herein for continuing contempt arising from respondent violation and disobedient to the terms of the judgment of this court.”
