Afia Schwarzenegger exposes Maadwoa’s friend for Allegedly causing her death

Ghanaian celebrity Afia Schwarzenegger has added her voice to the growing list of public figures commenting on the recent murder of 26-year-old Victoria Dapaah, also known as Maa Adwoa.

The young woman was allegedly shot and killed by her boyfriend, police inspector Ahmed Twumasi, who has been charged with murder after his first appearance in court. The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with many questioning the motives behind the killing.

Following the suspect’s confession in court that Maa Adwoa owed him GHC5,000, new details have emerged about the circumstances surrounding her death. According to reports, Maa Adwoa’s friend, Eunice Boakye, was also present at the crime scene and allegedly played a role in convincing Maa Adwoa to step out of her room to meet with her boyfriend.

Afia Schwarzenegger has since criticized Eunice’s involvement and wondered why she did not raise the alarm when her friend was being killed.

In a statement, Afia said, “I have warned people about friends on this social media several times. Not everyone around you is your friend, some of them have been contracted to work against you. Spiritually and physically. They have been sent to destroy your life, your future.”

The incident has sparked widespread concern about the dangers of domestic violence in Ghana, with many calling for stronger measures to protect victims and prevent future tragedies.
