Neymar’s net worth is estimated to be approximately $200 million—around 80% from his salary as the star forward for Paris Saint-Germain and the rest from endorsements.
Adepanews.com has come across a report which suggests that the former player would have some huge damage to his finance.
According to a stunning report in El Mundo, which outlines how the Catalan giants made a significant calculation in paying the Brazilian international during his time at the club and are now seeking to address the error.
As outlined by ESPN back in June, the Blaugrana won a court case against the player following a bonus dispute and Neymar subsequently had to pay the club €6.7m.
The court dispute had centered around Neymar claimed that the Blaugrana owed him an unpaid bonus of €43m following the last contract he signed with the club in 2016.
In June, Neymar was expected pay Barcelona €6.7million (£6m) after losing his court case against them for unpaid signing bonuses.
Back in September, it was revealed by El Mundo Deportivo that the superstar owes €34.6m to the Spanish state in unpaid taxes and debt accumulation.
There were huge differences of opinion over how Barcelona and Neymar should tie up financial loose ends in 2017 when the player moved to Paris Saint-Germain for a world record €222m (£198m) fee.
The player had signed a new contract at the Nou Camp in 2016 that included a signing bonus payable in installments.
