Anas Aremeyaw Anas, a renown Ghanaian investigative journalist of Tiger Eye attributed with famous exposé has released the second part of his anticipated piece on individuals exploiting and profiting from COVID-19.
In ‘Corona Quacks’, the title he gave for the first piece, the renowned journalist focused on some supposed health experts who promoted unapproved drugs as a cure for COVID-19 for profit.
Anas Aremeyaw has now released today, the second part of his exposé titled, ‘Cashing On Covid’.
In video released sighted earlier by Adepanews.com, two employees of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, Thomas Osei, a Medicine Counter Assistant and Divine Kumordzi of the Sewing Unit of the Hospital, are seen in the video selling Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that were meant to be given to health workers for use.
These two employees of Ridge Hospital are seen actively selling the PPEs while doctors and nurses of the hospital were complaining about the lack of protective materials.
