The flagbearer of United Front Party (UFP), Nana Agyenim Boateng has said that the upcoming general elections will not come on for he will seek court injunction if the Electoral Commission fails to reinstate him within 48 hours.
Mr Agyenim Boateng was among the five presidential aspirants the Electoral Commission (EC) headed by Mrs Jean Mensah disqualified ahead of the December polls.
Speaking on Happy FM’s EPA Hoa Daben show noted that he’s working assiduously with his lawyers to ensure that he image is put on the 2020 ballot papers because he is convinced his disqualification is illegitimate.
He further warned, “the way and manner the EC has allowed themselves to be manipulated by some political parties are very alarming. The 2020 general election will not come off if my image is not on the ballot papers, I will place an injunction on it.”
