13-year-old arrested for breaking UK’s coronavirus lockdown in the UK last Saturday.

The 13-year-old boy was arrested by the West Yorkshire Police after refusing to provide the police with any details so he could be taken him home.

A senior section officer for West Yorkshire Police, Ste Richardson, wrote on Twitter;

“Today I arrested a 13-year-old male under the new coronavirus powers,” Ste Richardson, a senior section officer for West Yorkshire Police, wrote Saturday in a now-deleted tweet,

“The male refused to give me any details so I could take him home under the Act. He was arrested and taken to custody,” the officer admitted.

“His mother was dealt with for being a responsible person failing to comply,” he said, without offering further details.

The UK has more than 1,200 deaths after the prime minister tested positive for the virus.

They are having a strict lockdown as close to 20,000 confirmed cases have been reported.
