1 suspect in Kasoa teenage ritual makes fresh allegations in court as a legal representative was available for them today.

The two were committed to stand trial for murder of 10-year old by the Kaneshie District Court on August 16, last year.

The two Kasoa youths accused of murdering 10-year-old Ishmael Mensah Abdullah made their first appearance in the High Court on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, to commence their trial.

The two accused defendants were not represented in court on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, therefore the matter was postponed until February 2, 2022.

But in court today, Nicholas Kani, represented by lawyer Samuel Atuah the second accused person for the murder of 10-year-old Ishmael Mensah Abdullah has said he was nowhere near the crime scene where the murder happened.

He has therefore been ordered by the court to file his notice of Alibi for the prosecution to investigate it within 21 days from today.

The court presided over by Her Ladyship Justice Lydia Osei Marfo stated that the prosecution should serve the accused with “anything of evidential value which they may or may not rely on at the trial.”
